The current government of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan led by the (General) Commander Hibatullah Akhundzada has banned all Afghan women from education.
Women are forced into ignorance, segregation within the home and forced even not to work. Such are the main conditions that women have to undergo in the current Taliban regime. The message issued to all public and private University Educational Institutions was communicated by Mullah Neda Mohammad Nadeem, politician, commander of the police in the province of Nangarhar, and currently in charge of Higher Education.
His position was firm and he ordered the blocking of female education as un-Islamic and contrary to Afghan values. These months there were bans at universities in the country, with the rearrangement of classrooms and entrances, separate for men and women; in addition, some restrictions were applied regarding the choice of study courses, in particular, the enrollment in veterinary medicine, engineering, economics and agronomy was prohibited.

The supreme leader of the Taliban has also imposed a full veil, which leaves only the eyes uncovered when a woman is outside her home.

This provision implemented by the Afghan government has been a subject of discussion in Europe. The United States and many other countries have condemned the Taliban for this discriminatory act against women, a fundamental part of the Afghan society for the country's growth.
