"Omar Ibn Al Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet say:"
“"The actions are judged by intentions, and every person will be rewarded according to their intention. So whoever migrates for Allah and His Messenger, their migration is for Allah and His Messenger, and whoever migrates for worldly gain or to marry a woman, their migration is for the purpose for which they migrated."

The intention is a fundamental concept in Islam, emphasized in various ahadith that highlight its importance in religious practice. This principle teaches that sincerity and purity of intention are crucial for the validity and acceptance of actions by Allah.
According to Islamic teaching, the spirituality and morality of actions are closely dependent on the intentions that drive them. For an act to be accepted by Allah, the action itself and the intention must be aligned with what is right and lawful. In other words, it is not possible to have a good intention and perform a morally reprehensible action, as the two are incompatible.
It is important to emphasize that intention resides in the heart and it is not necessary to express it verbally. Only Allah truly knows the intentions of people, so it is not permitted to judge the intentions of others. The Prophet himself taught not to pry into the hearts of people, as only what is manifest and evident can be the subject of judgment.
This teaching emphasizes the importance of sincerity and awareness in daily actions, encouraging believers to reflect on their intentions and seek purity of intent in all that they do. In this way, morally and ethically correct behavior based on pure and sincere intentions is promoted.
The intention, therefore, plays a central role in the practice of Islam, influencing the validity and acceptance of actions by Allah. Awareness of one's intention and the pursuit of sincerity are key elements for those who wish to live according to the moral and spiritual principles of Islam.
