Ten years of the Al Mowafaqa ecumenical school, bridge of dialogue with Islam

On the 30th March 2019, the Pope, during his visit to Morocco, at the Hassan Tower in Rabat, in his address before the king, the authorities and the public, he, defined the development as a "prophetic sign" and a "laudable initiative" which expresses the the will of the Christians of the North African country "to build bridges to demonstrate and serve human fraternity". It was the Al Mowafaqa Ecumenical Institute of Theology which was celebrating ten years of life this year, founded on the initiative of the Catholic and Evangelical Churches of Morocco, thanks to the support of two academic partners, the Protestant Faculty of Theology of the University of Strasbourg and the Catholic Institute of Paris.
