A fundraiser to help the Government of Burkina Faso fight the terrorists who are trying to take over the country .

For over 6 years, Burkina Faso has been under siege. A silent war, outside international interests, which has also involved Mali for years. Terrorists have already taken over about 40% of the country. They go into the villages, kill men (accused of fighting alongside the government) and burn everything. Over 2 million displaced people, especially women and children, not to mention the dead. On street corners you see poor children, without a family, begging.
At the end of January, the government (following the coup d'état of 30 September 2022 that ousted President Paul-Henri Sndaogo Damiba) led by Ibrahim Traore, 34, asked France to recall French soldiers after the uprising of the people who do not feel defended by France.
Now it is the Burkinabe who are fighting terrorism, to defend their land, their homeland at the cost of their lives. About 50,000 Burkinabe themselves have taken up President Traore's appeal to fight this massacre. Even the Burkinabe resident in Piedmont (including Canavese), Liguria and Valle d'Aosta, have moved to raise funds to send to the Government, because wars cost money. The initiative came from the Superior Council of Bukinabè Abroad led by delegate Patrice Kobanka.
<< This is the way we volunteer and contribut to the country. This collection has enabled us to get to know each other and to talk about our country and its problems. We are here, but our hearts are always in Burkina Faso where our roots are. And what the terrorists are trying to do, is to destroy our roots and take our country away from us, making us die twice. We must be united for our Earth>>.
